The smell of heating oil may indicate that there has been an oil spill in your home. If your heating unit is a portable system, it may have tipped over and caused oil to spill from its container.


ALL ABOUT THE NEW REGULATIONS ON OIL-BURNING EQUIPMENT
The Ministry of the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change has therefore decided to implement the new Regulation on Oil-Fired Heating Appliances. As part of the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy (PEV 2030), this measure will help achieve the target of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from building heating in Québec by 50%.
